Keeping Our Staff and
STUDENTS COVID SAFE
At CJMA, we will be doing everything possible to keep all our staff and students Covid-Safe. CJMA will be delivering our services with the highest of hygiene standards.
- Given the fluidity of the current Covid-19 community situation in NSW, CJMA reserve the right to postpone the commencement of any course or suspend any class for a period of time. Any postponement will be fully communicated with all students, and will be with the safety of all in mind. Current indications are that some courses (in particular the Diploma/Cert IV courses) will be postponed for a month. All enrolled students will be advised and our website updated
- CJMA will always comply with all relevant government COVID-19 guidelines and health orders, including use of the Service NSW app
- As make-up classes will require some close contact and not always allow social distancing, the following rules will apply for the protection of all of us
- All staff and students must be double vaccinated, and we encourage everyone to have their booster within the government recommended timeline
- Proof of double vaccination must be provided at least two weeks prior to the commencement of any class
- The only exception to this vaccination requirement will be those who have a medically endorsed exemption from a qualified medical practitioner
- We will encourage social separation at all times, but when not possible masks will be required to be worn (when make-up is being applied, it will be the person applying the make-up that will need to wear a mask). This mask wearing requirement will be regularly reviewed depending on the current Covid-19 situation at the time
- Hand sanitisation stations will be available on the CJMA premises
- All persons (staff and students) attending CJMA premises will be temperature checked on arrival each day. Any sign of fever will require that person to immediately leave and get RAT/PCR tested
- In the event that any staff or student feels unwell or is displaying any Covid-19 symptoms, they are not to attend the CJMA premises, must take a RAT or PCR test, and may only return once a negative RAT or PCR test is obtained
- If you are displaying any Covid-19 symptoms while on our premises, you will be sent home to test and isolate as required until a negative RAT or PCR test is obtained
- At the end of each day, all brushes will be sanitised
- As much as possible, if a student misses any classes due to Covid-19, we will endeavour to help that person to catch up their studies
