FACILITIES
Location
Cameron Jane Make-Up Academy (CJMA) is situated in a charming 1905 old church hall located on Pitt Street opposite Central Station, Sydney. Travelling to and from the academy is easy and convenient as all the major train and bus services arrive and depart from this zone. There are plenty of eateries to enjoy during breaks around the facility. It is recommended to catch public transport to our make up academy as parking in the city is metered.
Studios
To ensure the correct scenarios are played out for the students during theatrical make up, both warm and cool artificial lighting is provided in all training rooms.
Digital Camera
Students can record their progress on a digital camera provided by us, a small fee required for each photo. This is done on a pay as you order system.
Digital Video Camera
To aid training in the T.V. and film areas a camera is provided which is hooked up to the television to deliver real life film scenarios for students of the makeup courses.
Lockers
At a fee of $90 ($70 for the year plus $20 deposit), lockers are provided to the students. The deposit will be refunded on return of the locker key at the completion of the makeup courses.
Additional Facilities
A wide range of facilities are provided by us, including hiring of products and equipment to students for work experience and training.
Work Experience
A vast range of professional photo shoots, work experience assignments and numerous introductions to the industries top leading makeup artists is also offered. Work experience hours for the Certificate will exceed 200 hours on an average.
